Most of us don’t even know the fact that we can convert any Video file to any formats by just using the VLC Player! You can use the VLC to convert any video file to another format without using any other video converting software.

Now, follow these simple steps to convert a Video using VLC Player:
- First of all, make sure you have the latest version of VLC installed on your system.
- Open the VLC Player and go to the Media on the top left corner.
- In that menu, click on Convert/Save option.
- A dialog box called Open Media will pup up.
- In that dialog box, click on the Add Button.
- Now, add the file that you want to convert.
- The file will be added on the list in that dialog box. Now click Convert/Save button on the bottom of the box.
- Now, a new dialog box will pop up. In that box, you will have to select the output profile of the video. Which means, the file format that you want to get after converting.
- Choose your desired profile from the Dropdown menu
(Video for YouTube HD will work for almost all players)
- Now click on Browse and select a save location.
- Click on Start.
That’s it, you can see the seek bar of the VLC Player starts to move and once it ends, it means your video has been converted and saved at the selected location!
